![]() Conference season is in full force as the working world seeks to deploy new tools and offerings to delight its customers and hit its growth goals. Within three weeks, we will have supported clients at conferences ranging from Healthcare to Data Centers to Apartment Owners, and everyone is looking to use AI in some capacity. We have noticed a bit of a glut regarding all the tools that the big players are throwing in our direction. Recently, Google shared the 60 new things they had delivered, and I wanted to scream at the thought that they assumed anyone would like to review 60 changes regardless of how life-changing they might be. It's like looking in a tool box with too many wrenches. The A16Z big themes for 2025 are easier to digest with four predictions, and given how large a VC firm they run, it makes sense that they have to cover many topics. Our engagements are more personal, so we are focused on just One thing. Killing this guy... ![]() We are trying to help you kill the Status Quo in one area at a time in your life, and on a recent open water swim, we came up with the idea that we need a hero, and since we all like to go on quests, we asked Grok to give us a character that was a cross between TinTin from the 1920s and Jonny Quest from the 1960s and here is what we got back. This able-bodied youngster will be our alter ego for a while, and here is what he/we noticed in some of our recent and highly diverse meetings. Software developers are noticing that AI tools are starting to be much more efficient in writing production-ready code, which means productivity is ramping up quickly. The ability to scrape, sort, and deploy data on assets you own is improving rapidly, allowing you to enhance how you serve and delight your customers. Here is an example: I am working with some new tools to pull the over 65,000 emails I have sent in the last 11 years to create two unique assets.
My hope is that as we help our clients solve their business challenges, we can introduce them to people we have corresponded with in the past and share the learnings we have created in the past more efficiently. It will also be great to be finally able to organize one of the largest databases I have ever created (my emails) once and for all. It just sucks having to "START ALL OVER AGAIN" which is a common refrain we hear from our professional services clients. It gets down to asking your customers what pains they are living with now and then having the audacity to think you could wave a magic wand and solve their problem. That is the quest we are on now, how about you?
